TRAN in action

I am Because We Are

The Root Access Network (T.R.A.N) was built on a simple but powerful belief: that access to cybersecurity knowledge should be as common as air — freely available to every African who wants it, regardless of where they are or where they started.

Our Story

T.R.A.N was born from a question that wouldn't go away — and a community that refused to leave anyone behind. From mentorship to school tours, weekly data support to street outreach, everything we do comes back to one conviction: talent is everywhere. Access is not. We exist to close that gap.

Our Mission

To make access to IT and cybersecurity knowledge as common as air — freely available, practical, and empowering for every African who wants it.

What We Stand For

Community First

We invest in people before programmes. Every decision starts with what's best for our community members.

Real-World Learning

We teach what actually helps you get the job and do the work — practical, relevant, and honest.

Consistency

Weekly roundups, weekly support, weekly content. We show up — every single week without fail.

I am because we are. Every win in this community is a shared win.
